Parāvartana - Reflection*
Who am I? Who do I aspire to be? How can I get there?
These three questions involved in the process of reflection are integral for self development. This series draws inspiration from the 16th chapter of the Bhagavad Geeta outlining an array of distinct virtues to be used as a metric for gauging self development. Each painting draws from a variety of sources ranging from philosophical texts, historical figures and everyday objects in efforts to contexualize the virtues through a modern lens. Details regarding each painting are intentionally ommitted to challenge the viewer and encourage introspection for their own personal development.
